Massive grant for Ashley!! 30 September 2025
Huge congratulations to Ashley!
Dr. Ashley Rooney, together with Prof. Petra Dittrich and Dr. Andre Kahles (both from ETH Zurich), has successfully secured an SNSF Bridge Discovery Grant with a substantial funding contribution. This will allow this interdisciplinary team to develop a novel detection system for sepsis that combines microfluidics with rapid sequencing. The title of the project is "Development of a Rapid Pathogen Detection Device for Sepsis Diagnosis Using ONT Sequencing (RADIANT-Dx)".
