People coming, people leaving 🚶‍♂️ 03 Sept 26

September brings lots of changes: one farewells, three new faces, and three returns!

  • Goodbye to our bioinformatician Chumei, who will endeavour on doing a PhD in Christian von Mering's group. Congratulations and all the best! 🎊
  • Hello to our new Sinapic Acid Army members: intern Sofia will measure Klebsiella isolates on MALDI (normal and sinapic acid) and do DNA extraction, medical thesis student Dorian will create a sinapic acid based library for selected gram positive bacteria, medical thesis student Anna Sophia will test the sinapic acid MALDI method in an neonatal klebsiella outbreak setting. May your Chief Yuki lead you to success on the field!
  • Welcome back to our former intern Annalisa, who will now work part time in parallel to her studies, and PhD Elisa, who returns after a 6 months research stay in Melbourne, and former BSc thesis student Araney, now returning for the Sinaptic Acid Army too.Â
